Activities Ltd. "Gruzvinprom" and Ltd. "Acura" are almost identical. Both companies own wine companies in the region of Kakheti and take part in the region that produces grapes. In 2012, the amount of grapes taken by these companies amounted to 65% of the total harvest, but these figures in 2013 decreased to 17%, which, presumably, was caused by the opening of the Russian market for Georgian wine and an increase in demand growth of private enterprises in the grapes, reports Radio "Liberty".

 

"Acura" does not have a line for bottling wine in the bottle, so the company produces only the so-called "Wine from the wood". The company also produces spiritus.

 

It is difficult to say whether the demand for these enterprises will still exist. Apart from these two plants they also plan to sell power to other agricultural enterprises. Project Management Agency of Agriculture has already handed 4 out of 7 companies on its balance sheet, and the work on the transfer of the remaining three companies is still held.
